A booking flow that respects how chiropractic actually schedules
Generic appointment-booking widgets treat every visit the same. Chiropractic doesn’t work that way: a new patient needs a 60-minute slot, an established patient needs 15 minutes, and a re-eval needs 30. A Webster-trained DC sees different patients than a sports DC. Multi-location clinics need location-specific availability. The snapshot’s booking flow handles all of this.
How patients experience it
- Patient picks “new patient” or “returning patient” — different slot lengths surface accordingly.
- They choose their preferred doctor (or “first available”).
- They choose a service type (initial consult / adjustment / re-eval / decompression / massage), which gates the slot length.
- They see actual available times (not “tomorrow afternoon” placeholders).
- They confirm contact details, optionally accept a deposit policy for premium slots, and book.
The whole flow is mobile-first — 70% of bookings happen on phones.
Smart routing rules
- New patients are gated to require intake-form completion before the slot is locked. (No-show rates drop dramatically when intake is pre-completed.)
- Established patients can self-book without re-doing intake.
- Re-evals auto-suggest the right interval based on care phase.
- Webster patients see only Webster-trained DCs.
- Sports patients see DCs tagged with sports certification.
Deposit-gated premium slots (optional)
For Saturday morning slots, last-appointment-of-the-day slots, or weekend availability that has high opportunity cost, the snapshot supports a refundable deposit collected at booking. Reduces no-shows on high-demand slots; patients understand the trade-off.
Multi-location support
Each clinic location has its own calendar, doctor list, services, and hours. Patients can filter by location or auto-locate to the nearest clinic.

What it doesn’t do
Real-time multi-room scheduling for clinics with 5+ rooms and multiple LMTs on the same provider — that requires a more specialized scheduling system. For most chiropractic clinics, the snapshot’s booking flow is enough.
